Forest have beaten a number of Premier League clubs, including Sheffield United, to the signature of Berry.

Scottish giants Celtic and Championship outfit Blackburn Rovers were also interested in the teenager.

The winger was very highly rated while in the Man Utd youth academy and made his debut for the Under-18 team while he was still 15.

This came after he went viral on social media thanks to a video clip capturing a spectacular long-range goal from inside his own centre circle.

Berry played in the Man Utd Under-16s team last season and made five appearances off the bench for the Under-18s before solidifying a spot as a starter this term.

He then opted to leave the club in search of game-time after 12 years at the club, announcing his departure on social media earlier this month.

FootballTransfers revealed last week that Berry was on trial at Forest, and the Premier League side are now set to sign the player permanently.

Berry is part of the England national youth teams.

He has received call-ups to both the England Under-16s and under-17s squads.
