When did Tottenham last win the league title?

Tottenham Hotspur are widely considered to be one of the 'top-six' clubs in England, but they have found silverware impossible to come by in recent years.
Their last trophy came back in 2008, in the form of the League Cup, and they have spent nearly two decades on the periphery of the Premier League big boys.
Spurs came close to winning the Champions League under Mauricio Pochettino back in 2019, succumbing to a 2-0 defeat to Liverpool in the final, while they finished second in the Premier League table two years prior after a fantastic campaign.
However, their last triumph in the English top flight came way back in the 1960s.
