Former Liverpool player Stan Collymore believes that there is no way that Jadon Sancho can suit up for Manchester United again.

The England international has struggled to come to grips with life at Old Trafford since his €85 million move from Borussia Dortmund. The most recent episode in a long list of problematic incidents occurred last weekend when Erik ten Hag left Sancho out of his squad to face Arsenal, citing unsatisfactory training performances.

"Please don’t believe everything you read! I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue," Sancho fired back at the Dutchman in a post that is still live, "I have conducted myself in training very well this week. I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won’t go into, I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair!"

Rumours about what will now happen to Sancho have abounded, and Stan Collymore thinks that there is no way back for him.

What did Collymore say?

Writing in his CaughtOffside column, Collymore opined: "His [Sancho's] decision to criticise, and effectively undermine, his manager on social media wouldn’t have gone down well at all."

"I just don’t see how he could ever come back from it. I actually believe the Red Devils will look to offload him, either on loan or permanently, at the next opportunity."

"I know there are reports that he’s set for crunch talks with his manager and the coaching staff," the former Liverpool player continued, "but I don’t think we’ll ever see Sancho play for United again."

"...Almost every manager and coach will now be wary of him because he’s given himself this reputation of being a problematic player that, according to his current boss, isn’t the best trainer. So it’s going to be difficult for him, and United, to find a club willing to take him; certainly in the Premier League anyway."

Collymore thinks that ex-club Borussia Dortmund or Bayern Munich will try to lure Sancho back to the Bundesliga, but he believes that the ideal destination for the 23-year-old would be Serie A and Jose Mourinho's Roma in particular.
