Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has urged Kylian Mbappe to move clubs and surround himself with players that won’t flatter his ego, because he apparently doesn’t do enough as a player at Paris Saint-Germain.

Mbappe has been in fine form for the French side this season, bagging no less than six goals and eight assists in 14 games in all competitions.

As well as that, the France international has also been tasked with playing on the wing at certain points of the season, to accommodate new signing Lionel Messi.

However, despite all that, Ibrahimovic believes the young striker could be doing much more with his talents if he was just willing to put in more effort on the pitch.

'I love him but he doesn't do enough'

“I love him, but he doesn't do enough,” Ibrahimovic said in an interview with Telefoot. “He can become so good when he learns to hurt himself. He has to lick blood, run over fire.

"Surround yourself with those who tell you that you are not good enough and you will get better."

Ibrahimovic’s comments will certainly raise a few eyebrows around Paris, where Mbappe is not only considered to be one of the best players in the world but also a rather unselfish one at that.

However, despite his critical remarks, the towering Swedish striker still believes Mbappe is in the top 10 players in the world alongside Erling Haaland and himself.

“Kylian Mbappe is in my top 10,” confirmed the Milan striker “There are players who have been at the top for a very long time, but with the young one is (Erling) Haaland and who else... there is Ibrahimovic, we don't need to talk about the others!"

When asked about PSG’s chances of winning the Champions League this season, Ibrahimovic was equally dismissive, suggesting that Mauricio Pochettino’s side look like a team of individuals and lack certain qualities to win such a competition.

“Maybe later. I believe in this team, but they are not the best,” noted the Sweden international, with his characteristic swagger.
