Manchester United fans are pulling their hair out in frustration after witnessing David de Gea make a clanger against West Ham.

The Red Devils are hoping for a top-four spot this season - and their hopes were boosted after Newcastle, currently third, lost 2-0 at home to Arsenal.

In the late-kick off, Man Utd had the chance to leapfrog and Magpies - but matters were not helped after a horrible mistake from De Gea.

Said Benrahma hit a pretty tame effort from outside the box. It looked as though it was an easy one for the Spanish goalkeeper to collect, with everyone not thinking anything of the shot.

But De Gea spilled the ball and it ended up in the back of the net to give the relegation-battling Hammers the lead at the London Stadium.

De Gea, the club’s longest-serving player, is in line for a fresh deal at Old Trafford, with his current deal up next month.

Talks have been ongoing - with the most recent reports stating that De Gea had rejected an offer of £200k-per-week, but discussions were still very positive.

In any case, Man Utd supporters made their feelings clear online, saying that Erik ten Hag must look to drop him ahead of next season.
