Havertz delights Arsenal fans with Chelsea dig
Kai Havertz feels that winning the Champions League with Arsenal 'would mean a lot more' than with Chelsea.
The German is in the midst of his second season at the Emirates after making the move from Chelsea in the summer of 2023. Havertz never quite managed to feel at home at Stamford Bridge, ultimately going down in Blues history as an €80 million flop.
However, he did also leave a positive mark on Chelsea history as he scored the winner in the 2021 Champions League final. Still, eyebrows were raised when Arsenal shelled out €75m on the 25-year-old last year.

So far it has proved to be money well spent. After a few months of finding his feet, Havertz became increasingly important to Mikel Arteta's side and he is now an ever-present and a fairly reliable source of goals.
Ahead of Arsenal's Champions League clash with PSG, Havertz spoke about what it would mean to win his second European trophy.

Speaking to Arsenal's official club website, the attacker recalled his 2021 triumph and said that it would be more meaningful to repeat the feat with the Gunners.
“It was a good moment for me in my career and something that I’m always going to think about," Havertz began. "It’s a nice feeling but it would be even nicer if I can do it with Arsenal and it would mean a lot more.

“We know now how tough it is to go far in that competition from last year. Especially last year, away in Germany it wasn’t our best game but I think we grew up and we are one year older now, so I hope we’re going to have a great competition. It’s a long way but I think we’re all ready for it.
“If players ask me about it I tell them, but I think it’s just something new now. We have lots of players already that have played in the competition and now it’s a new competition with more games. I help where I can but it was three or four years ago that I won it, so a long time ago, so I think I have to prove myself again in the dressing room.”
