Dusan Vlahovic showed why he is wanted so much by both Arsenal and Tottenham with a sensational chipped goal for Fiorentina on Monday evening.

La Viola thrashed relegation-threatened Genoa 6-0 at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, with Vlahovic providing the highlight of the night with the fourth goal on 51 minutes.

The Serbian ran onto a wonderful lofted through pass by Giacomo Bonaventura, took down the ball beautifully before then chipping goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu.

It was a moment of world-class brilliance from the 21-year-old and showed why both Arsenal and Tottenham are fighting it out for his services this month.

Vlahovic is valued at €70 million and both Arsenal and Spurs are pushing for a deal to be done this month.

FootballTransfers understands that the youngster is more likely to leave this summer as his contract expires in 2023 and the chances of a renewal are slim.

WHO ARE THE MOST VALUABLE PLAYERS IN THE WORLD?

Therefore, Fiorentina will be forced to sell in order to prevent losing him on a Bosman transfer next year. But La Viola would prefer to sell at the end of the season as they are currently fighting for a European qualification spot.

Vlahovic himself is also only willing to join a club who are playing in the Champions League next season and wants to wait and see how the rest of the season pans out.

Juventus and Man City are also very interested in Vlahovic.

Vlahovic, who also missed a Panenka penalty against Genoa, has emerged over the past year as arguably the best young striker in world football after Erling Haaland.

The 21-year-old is the current top-scorer in Serie A and only Robert Lewandowski scored more than Vlahovic’s 33 league goals in Europe’s top 10 leagues in 2021.
