FC Dallas full-back Bryan Reynolds has arrived in Rome for his medical ahead of his transfer to Roma.

Roma have now won the race for the right-back – and he arrived at Rome’s Fiumicino Airport on Sunday in order to attend a medical with the capital club.

Reynolds is set to sign a four-and-a-half-year contract, with Roma to pay Dallas a fee in the region of €7.5 million.

The teenager will be Roma’s second signing in a matter of days after the return of Stephan El Shaarawy from the Chinese Super League.

Reynolds is just the latest in a long line of exciting American youngsters who are making their mark on the game.

Weston McKennie has enjoyed a fine first half to the season since joining Juventus from Schalke last summer, and Roma will now be hoping for a similar impact from their new signing.
