Barcelona are preparing for the departures of three defenders this week as Xavi's summer rebuild starts to take shape.

The Blaugrana's head coach is expected to alter and tinker with his playing squad across the course of the summer transfer window, with several incomings and outgoings in the works.

The Camp Nou side have already seen both Franck Kessie and Andreas Christensen arrive on free transfer from AC Milan and Chelsea respectively, but that duo are set to be accompanied by several other new faces.

Barcelona are in the hunt for Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha in the forward department, while defenders Jules Kounde and Marcos Alonso are in talks with the club too.

In order to facilitate these arrivals, Barcelona are prepared to say goodbye to several players in the current senior set-up.

If Kounde joins Christensen in signing for Barcelona this summer, the club will be left with a huge surplus of centre-backs, which is an issue Xavi is keen to address.

As a result, Clement Lenglet, Samuel Umtiti and Oscar Mingueza are all set to leave Camp Nou this window, with Barcelona hopeful of confirming their exits this week, according to Marca.

Clement Lenglet

After being linked with Pau Torres and Alessandro Bastoni, Tottenham now look set to sign Lenglet on a season-long loan deal instead.

Spurs will reportedly pay 85% of is wages and will have an option to buy him next summer for €10 million. Personal terms have already been agreed.

Samuel Umtiti

Umtiti was in France's starting XI for their 2018 World Cup final victory over Croatia, but injuries and a drop-off in form has seen him slide into obscurity.

He played just once last season and Barcelona are now trying to ship him off this summer.

Umtiti is set to return to France and join Stade Rennais on what may be a free transfer as reports have suggested Barcelona are willing to terminate his contract.

Oscar Mingueza

A product of La Masia, Mingueza suffered following the arrival of Eric Garcia last summer and fell down the pecking order.

Still only 23, he's set to join newly-promoted Serie A side Monza on loan. Reports also suggest that several teams from Spain and Germany are also interested in his signature.
