Man Utd try to sign the ENTIRE Ajax team!

Erik ten Hag’s imminent arrival as Manchester United manager in the summer has brought about a frenzy of rumours linking the Dutchman with the Ajax players presently under his wing.
No doubt, the 52-year-old wants to bring a couple of familiar faces from Amsterdam with him to Old Trafford, but the scattergun nature of the transfer rumours linking Manchester United with Ajax stars is almost unprecedented.
Just how crazy is the situation? Well, of Ajax’s regular starting XI, there are only a couple of players under the age of 30 who have not been linked with a move to Man Utd in the recent past, including captain Day Klaassen, who had an ill-fated experience with Everton in the Premier League previously.

Lisandro Martinez, Noussair Mazraoui, Jurrien Timber, Edson Alvarez, Ryan Gravenberch, Antony and Sebastien Haller have all been linked with summer moves to Old Trafford this summer.
That leaves just a handful of Ajax stars who have not been associated with a transfer to Manchester United – most of them for very obvious reasons.
The Ajax players who haven't been linked to Man Utd
Goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg, for example, is 39, while Andre Onana, who would typically be their first choice, is returning from a drugs-related ban and is hotly tipped to be on his way to Inter.
Daley Blind, who spent four years at Man Utd earlier in his career, Steven Berghuis and Dusan Tadic are also the wrong side of 30.
Nicolas Tagliafico is another exception but was linked with the Red Devils as a possible replacement for Alex Telles last summer and is expected to move to Barcelona, leaving centre-back Perr Shuurs as the sole remaining regular under the age of 30 not linked with the club.
Having burnt through the possibilities of the regular stars, expect to see up-and-coming 20-year-old midfielder Kenneth Taylor to be the next Ajax star lined with Man Utd in what is proving to be an Amsterdam-focused transfer window for the media.
