Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing up a double swoop for Everton forward duo Richarlison and Anthony Gordon.

Richarlison, 25, has been linked with a move to North London for several weeks, and Antonio Conte's side are reportedly ready to up the ante as they prepare to make an offer for the Brazil international.

They have also now targeted England U21 star Gordon, according to both Sky Sports and GOAL. Unlike Richarlison, Tottenham don't face any competition for Gordon but it remains to be seen whether Everton are willing to discuss selling the jewel of their academy.

Gordon made his senior Everton debut off the bench in a Europa League win over Apollon Limassol in 2017 and became a first-team regular last season after spending the back-end of the 2020/21 season on loan at Preston North End.

Sky Sports report that Frank Lampard's side are anticipating bids for Gordon and Richarlison in the next week, but don't have any interest in entertaining a double swoop.

The Toffees narrowly avoided relegation last season, with both Richarlison and Gordon playing a key role in survival thanks to their form in the second-half of the campaign.

However, with their Premier League status preserved, keeping their record of never being relegated from the top flight intact, Everton are keen to keep hold of their prized assets.

As a homegrown player and Scouser, it will take a monumental offer from Spurs to convince Everton to part ways with Gordon. With only four senior Toffees goals to his name, Spurs may be priced out of a move.

Richarlison, however, may be a more manageable target. They could face serious competition from Chelsea, who are interested in signing the Brazilian as Romelu Lukaku's replacement, but he is reportedly Tottenham's number one target and are ready to step up their interest in the player.

It's understood that Richarlison wishes to leave Everton to fulfil his ambition of playing Champions League football, which is something both Chelsea and Tottenham can offer. But, given Everton paid over €40 million to sign Richarlison from Watford in 2018, it may cost a fair chunk to buy him this summer.

Where would they fit in?

If Everton agree to selling two of their most important players, then Spurs would need to find room for them in a suddenly bloated forward department.

Steven Bergwijn is set to leave, but if they can't find a suitor then Richarlison and Gordon would be joining the Dutchman, Harry Kane, Heung-Min Son, Dejan Kulusevski and Lucas Moura in the frontline.

While Spurs will be competing on multiple fronts next year, Conte has previously shown he isn't a manager who tends to rotate often, suggesting minutes may be hard to come by.
