Xavi is continuing his renovation of the squad at Barcelona by making four fringe players available for transfer this summer.

The Catalan boss has made his mark at the club since being appointed in November and he is aiming to make wholesale changes to his side by trimming the wage bill.

Among the players being told they have no future at the club are Oscar Mingueza, Riqui Puig, Samuel Umtiti and Martin Braithwaite.

All four players have found games tough to come by and have been receptive to the decision to put them on the transfer list.

What other players could leave Barcelona this summer?

With the club still reeling from their financial issues which lost them Lionel Messi last season, Barcelona are still trying to cut costs by selling backup players.

Goalkeeper Neto is still searching for a transfer away from the club having failed to find a new team in the past two years whilst Coutinho has agreed a move to Aston Villa.

Loanees Adama Traore and Luuk De Jong are set to return to their parent clubs Wolves and Sevilla respectively despite proving to be useful squad players this season.

Meanwhile Barca are willing to consider offers for Sergino Dest, Clement Lenglet and Memphis Depay should the right bids come in for them.

However, with the club planning costly acquisitions of players such as Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha, getting more players off the wage books would be an essential task.

Ousmane Dembele’s future is also up for discussion with his contract expiring next month and the club having yet to agree a new deal for the enigmatic forward.

Frenkie De Jong is the first team player most being linked with a move away, with new Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag said to be targeting the Dutchman.
