10 players who could transfer to Tottenham this summer

Tottenham were one of the most active clubs in the January transfer window and managed to bring in both Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur from Juventus.
However, manager Antonio Conte is not entirely happy with his current squad so it is likely that Spurs will break the bank to give the Italian what he wants whether they qualify for the Champions League or not.

What goalkeepers could transfer to Tottenham this summer?
At the moment, Tottenham have Hugo Lloris as their number one and Pierluigi Gollini as backup.
La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that Gollini won't be signed on a permanent deal from Atalanta, so another keeper will be required.
Spurs ultimately need to decide whether they will go for a Lloris replacement right away, or a back up who can learn from the Frenchman.
At the moment, West Brom's Sam Johnstone is being targeted despite a relatively poor season in the Championship.
What defenders could transfer to Tottenham this summer?
Tottenham have actually been strongly linked with all three of Inter's starting centre-backs over the last 12 months - Alessandro Bastoni, Milan Skriniar and Stefan de Vrij.
It appears that the Italian is ahead of his team-mates in terms of interest from Spurs, though, as reported by the Athletic.
He is probably the most indispensable of the aforementioned trio, though, and so would cost a bit more.
One central defender who is making quite a name for himself in European football currently is RB Leipzig's Josko Gvardiol.
He has been owned by the German side for two years but spent the first back on loan at Dinamo Zagreb.
He has made the step up to the Bundesliga with ease and is equally as adept at playing left-back as centre-back.
The Athletic have also reported that Gvardiol is on Spurs' wishlist and he would be a perfect replacement for Ben Davies as Tottenham's left-centre-back.
A crucial position in Conte's system is the wing-back role and it doesn't seem the Italian is overly keen on the current roster of wing-backs - Matt Doherty, Emerson Royal, Sergio Reguilon and Ryan Sessegnon. Doherty experienced a ripe purple patch before his injury but it may not have been enough to secure a starting place for next season.
One player they are targeting for this role is Djed Spence.
The Nottingham Forest man, on loan from Middlesbrough, impressed in FA Cup victories over Premier League sides Arsenal and Leicester and was particularly good in the latter, after which the transfer rumours intensified.
Spence was on the scoresheet from right-back against Leicester and has arguably been the Championship's best full-back this campaign.
What midfielders could transfer to Tottenham this summer?
Since making the move from Lille to Brighton in 2018 for a fee of just £15.1 million, Yves Bissouma has quickly established himself as one of the smartest and most defensively astute midfielders in the English top-flight.
However, such performances have undoubtedly attracted interest from a number of England’s biggest clubs.
His performances may have declined slightly from last season, but he is still a wanted man so Spurs may be involved in a transfer battle. With his contract expiring in 2023, Brighton will likely sell this summer and Spurs could add the Mali international to bolster their midfield options, especially if a player like Harry Winks is offloaded.
This would certainly be the most emotional transfer of the summer for Spurs, as the club have very recently been credited with an interest in bringing Christian Eriksen back to the club.
The Dane is currently rebuilding his career at Brentford, having found himself without a club after his terrifying cardiac arrest during the Euros.
Regulations in Italy meant he could no longer play for Inter after being fitted with a defibrillator and he found solace at Brentford, where he's contributed three goals in eight games.
Spurs could look to reunite Eriksen with Conte, but Brentford will offer him a new contract at the end of the season.
What forwards could transfer to Tottenham this summer?
Anthony Martial's future could be intrinsically linked to that of Harry Kane, who may or may not stay at Tottenham this summer.
Should Spurs finally cave and sell their talisman to Man Utd or Man City, which seems extremely unlikely, they will need one or two replacements.
Should Man Utd win the race for Kane's signature then Martial might be used in part-exchange. But, his form for Sevilla suggests Spurs might say no to that.
Gianluca Scamacca is a striker or a target man who is best suited to playing as a lone frontman or in the middle of a 4-3-3, which he currently does for Sassuolo.
He would, then, be signed either as a replacement for or a backup to Kane depending on his future.
Spurs transfer chief Fabio Paratici knows the player well from his time at Juventus and also has Scamacca on his list of possible signings.
Memphis Depay was meant to be the new superstar of the Barcelona attack when he signed for the club on a free transfer in the summer.
However, even though he has certainly not been a failure, with 11 goals in 17 La Liga starts, he has not hit the heights of his best at Lyon.
Injuries have impacted his progress, while he has now lost his place in the team to new signings Ferran Torres and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Tottenham and Arsenal are both interested, but the player is reportedly keen to stay and prove his worth to Barcelona.
Darwin Nunez looks set for a big-money transfer this summer, with several elite sides eyeing up a move for the prolific Benfica striker.
While many in Spain and Portugal knew all about Nunez long before this season, the Uruguayan striker burst onto the scene in European football when he played a starring role in Benfica’s 3-0 defeat of Barcelona in the Champions League earlier this campaign.
Nunez has stepped up his goalscoring in the current campaign and he already has 34 strikes in all competitions.
The player may not accept a role as a back-up, however, when he will have offers from all over the continent.
