The three players Arsenal want to sell to fund Gabriel Jesus signing

Arsenal have been interested in a move for Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus as they look to improve their forward options, should they qualify for the Champions League next season.
The Gunners have qualification for Europe’s premier club cup competition in their own hands and will want to strengthen upon their return to the tournament for the first time since the 2016-17 season.
To fund the move, Arsenal may have to sell some of their players, and here are three that could go to make way for the Brazilian forward.

The Spanish right-back has spent the last season on loan at La Liga side Real Betis and seems to be enjoying himself as his team won the Copa del Rey last month.
Arsenal have taken another direction, playing new signing Takehiro Tomiyasu in that position, and the Japanese has done well there.
That would encourage Arsenal to sell Bellerin, and those would be welcome funds for the club as they would no longer need the academy graduate in the coming years.
Torreira has long been asking for a move away from Arsenal and his time in England has not gone well, despite some encouraging moments in his first season in 2018-19.
The Uruguayan midfielder has spent the last two seasons away on loan, first at Atletico Madrid last season, where he was part of the club’s league-winning side, and then at Fiorentina.
Arsenal have done alright without him, and seeing as the player isn’t keen on staying, it’s best to part ways.
Lucas Torreira - on loan from Arsenal - has been winning the ball back in important areas for Fiorentina this season.

Last summer, Maitland-Niles made it clear he wanted to leave Arsenal and that request was denied, with the player taking to Instagram to make his disappointment clear.
The 24-year-old eventually got his wish in the winter, making a move to Jose Mourinho’s Roma side, but hasn’t made much of a mark.
Like Torreira, it’s best for both parties to part ways and give the player a fresh start at a new club.
