Kacper Kozlowski is one of the up-and-coming stars of European football and is wanted by several clubs. This includes three Premier League sides, with Liverpool, Manchester City and Brighton all monitoring the 18-year-old.

According to The Daily Mail, Brighton are leading the race and could sign the Polish midfielder from Pogon Szczecin for £8million. Although Manchester City and Liverpool are interested too, it is believed that Kozlowski could be persuaded by the promise or more playing time at Brighton.

In any case, he might not move to the American Express Community Stadium straight away. He could out on loan first, partly because of work visa complications, before joining Brighton’s first-team squad at a later date.

Who is Kacper Kozlowski?

Labelled ‘the new De Bruyne’, Kozlowski is a No.10, who can also perform as a No.6 or No.8. He has height, physicality, power and technical ability, plus he boasts significant experience for his age, having been regularly playing in Poland’s top division for two years already.

He has also represented the senior Polish national team six times already, including appearances against Spain and Sweden at Euro 2020. That saw him become the youngest ever player to feature at a European Championship, as he was just 17 years and 246 days old at the time.

Which clubs are interested in Kacper Kozlowski?

In addition to Brighton, Manchester City and Liverpool, there are several clubs on the continent who are also interested in the Poland international. That includes RB Leipzig and RB Salzburg, which is a sign that he is a coveted talent, while AC Milan are another suitor.

Kozlowski’s current contract at Pogon Szczecin runs until 2023, so it is believed that a summer move is likely as his current employers look to cash in on their academy graduate while they still can.
