Dortmund star compares team mate to Man Utd and Real Madrid legend David Beckham

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud has labelled team mate Julian Brandt as a “Junior Beckham” due to the German international’s ability to cross the ball.
The Dortmund playmaker picked up two assists in Friday’s night’s emphatic 5-1 victory over Freiburg when he struck two corners 15 minutes apart from one another and found the head of Thomas Meunier on both occasions.

Dortmund then secured all three points through a further two goals from Erling Haaland, who took his tally to 21 goals in 18 games this season, followed by a remarkable finish from Dahoud a few minutes from time.
The strike was Dahoud’s second goal in as many games, following a winner against Eintracht Frankfurt last weekend, but the German international was in no mood to boast of his own achievements and instead praised Brandt when they both took part in the post-match interviews.
"It's fun at the moment, definitely. When things are going well, it's always fun,” said Dahoud in an interview with DAZN. "Julian really played a very good game today. He has such a good foot.
The Dortmund midfielder then added: “He doesn't have to train at all. We call him Junior Beckham for that reason."
Following last night's impressive performance, Julian Brandt is now averaging 0.72 goals or assists per 90 for Dortmund this season.

How good has Brandt been this season?
There’s no doubt that Dortmund are once again getting the best out of Brandt, following a change of manager at the club.
Marco Rose has come in and with it a renewed emphasis on Brandt’s playmaking in the final third.
After being shunned by former head coach Lucien Favre, the German midfielder has become a crucial part of Dortmund’s attack this season and currently sits on an impressive haul of five goals and eight assists in 22 games across all competitions.
Which is undoubtedly more than the four goals and two assists the midfielder picked up for the club in 45 games last season.
