Up to eight Lazio players are a doubt for Saturday’s Serie A clash with Juventus after missing training on Friday morning.

Among the absentees were Thomas Strakosha, Denis Vavro, Manuel Lazzari, Lucas Leiva, Gonzalo Escalante, Ciro Immobile, Djavan Anderson, and Luis Alberto, which then forced Simone Inzaghi and his staff to postpone tactical drills until Saturday – just one day before their league clash with their Turin rivals.

With just 10 points from their first six league matches of the season, the Rome-based club will have to be at their very best to match a Juventus side that have yet to lose a game in Serie A this season.
