PSG make bid for Theo Hernandez

HOW MUCH IS THEO HERNANDEZ WORTH?

PSG are in the market for a new left-back and recently sold Mitchel Bakker to Bayer Leverkusen for €7m.

And according to Tuttosport, PSG placed a €40m bid for Theo Hernandez but the offer was immediately rejected by Milan.

The Rossoneri have no intention of losing another of their biggest stars, having already seen Hakan Calhanoglu join Inter on a Bosman and with Gigio Donnarumma about to complete his free transfer to PSG.

Theo has made 81 appearances for Milan, scoring 15 times and laying on 13 assists.

He was surprisingly left out of France’s Euro 2020 squad, a decision that came back to bite Didier Deschamps as they were at times forced to play with Adrien Rabiot at left-back.

This contributed to France being eliminated from the tournament in the last-16 as they lost on penalties to Switzerland after a gripping 3-3 draw.

Who have PSG signed this summer?

PSG have been extremely active in the summer transfer market so far.

They have already signed Achraf Hakimi for up to €70m from Inter, as well as the Bosman transfers of Gini Wijnaldum, Sergio Ramos and imminently Donnarumma.

A top left-back is now their next priority as they aim to build a Champions League-winning team.

The Parisians have yet to win Europe’s premier club competitions, despite reaching the final in 2020 and the semi-finals in 2021.

PSG will start the new season as one of, if not, the favourites for the Champions League given their spending spree.
