Achraf Hakimi could leave Paris Saint-Germain after just one season at the club.

The defender joined the French giants from Inter Milan last summer and was one of seven high-profile names to join the club.

Hakimi arrived off the back of a Serie A title-winning season at Inter in which he'd scored seven goals and assisted 10 in 37 league games.

He cost PSG a fee of €60 million, and has continued his fine attacking form at the Parc des Princes with nine goal contributions in 28 Ligue 1 games.

Inter signed Denzel Dumfries as Hakimi's replacement for just €15m, turning a handsome profit on his sale, and just a year on from signing him, PSG may look to do the same and cash in on Hakimi.

Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that Dumfries' arrival has meant Hakimi has been forgotten by Inter fans despite his form last season.

It marks a tricky spell for the Morocco international who, according to RMC Sport, doesn't feel completely settled in Paris and it could lead to a PSG exit.

Back in March, RMC reported that Hakimi doesn't have a good relationship with the South American players in the PSG squad, who are believed to stay together as a clique.

RMC journalist Daniel Riolo even said: "Hakimi is going crazy, the South Americans don't talk to him anymore," in March.

"He already wants to leave Paris, he is fed up. In this team his qualities have never exploded, so maybe you have to give him up. He is angry and that's normal, he can't take it anymore," Riolo added.

It's understood that Hakimi is good friends with Kylian Mbappe, however, and the pair have been seen performing goal celebrations together on a regular basis this season. But, Mbappe may join Real Madrid this summer, which could leave Hakimi's future at PSG in doubt.

What is Hakimi's transfer value?

If Hakimi is to leave PSG this summer, the club would likely demand a large transfer fee. He arrived for €60m just one year ago and his current contract at the club doesn't expire until 2026.

As a result of that, FootballTransfers values him at €63.1m. That has dropped, however, from his highest ever value of €71.6m in December 2021.
