Arsenal target Dominik Szoboszlai is likely to be sold in January, RB Salzburg boss Jesse Marsch has revealed.

The midfielder, who is also reportedly on the radar of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Milan, has emerged as one European football’s hottest young talents in recent seasons.

His last three seasons have produced 22 goals and 19 assists across 73 appearances in all competitions.

And a number of outstanding performances in the Champions League this term seem to suggest he is ready to take the next step.

And it does not seem that the Hungarian’s club will stand in his way if the manager’s words are anything to go by.

  • Asked if Szoboszlai is likely to move on in January, Marsch told the Futbol podcast: “Yes. The reality is that a guy like Dominik Szoboszlai is likely to have many suitors this winter.

    “He’s an incredible talent, and I say this: When you coach young players, you have to love them and love the fact that they’re going to move on and love that they’re going to have big opportunities to prove themselves and show how good they are.”

    RB Salzburg have previous for selling key men in January, having done so during the last mid-season window.

    Prolific striker Erling Haaland left for Borussia Dortmund, while Takumi Minamino headed to Liverpool.
